Same principle as the CeraVe wash and roughly half the price, which matters because a body wash gets used up quickly. The trade off is honest: it is more stripping and it is scented, so on dry or reactive skin it can be too much. If your back is oily and you are going through a bottle a month, this is the one that makes financial sense. If your skin protests, move up.
Too drying for sensitive skin and definitely not for the face. The fragrance is noticeable if that bothers you.
